STARTING BUILDING

After all architectural drawings have been validated by our client the project will be ready to break ground.
Island living has a panel of professional and experienced contractors who will be working closely with the architectural team from start to finish. There are important aspects that we monitor during the building phase and budget as well as time management are two of them. The Contractor and the MEP team will provide our clients with detailed progress  timetables in order to accurately and easily follow through all the construction phases over time.

What our Contractors and Project Managers will be providing

  • A Bill Of Quantity (BOQ) describing material choices and costs after design validation
  • Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing drawings (MEP Schematics) by certified engineers
  • Structural drawings
  • On site project supervision by our Project Management team including a minimum of one Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and MEP Manager (one team per project)
  • 2-3 Weekly site visits according to the project requirements 
  • Detailed construction and MEP time table with completion targets
  • Making sure all recommendations are followed according to the architectural drawings by the MEP
    ( Mechanical- Electrical – Plumbing ) and structural team  
  • Budget and time management
  • Problem solving management
  • Weekly Photo/Video updates
  • Ensure that 3rd party engineering design specifications are followed
  • A consultation with our in-house interior designer if you wish to use her expertise to design and decorate your home
